According to steam, this will cost about 60 dollars for the preorder, which i think is absolutely and, sadly, expectedly audacious. We shouldnt need to pay full price for a game many of us own already, and that can be remastered to pretty much the same level in the case of me2 and me3 completely for free with mods. This would only be worth it for me1 anyways, but 60 dollars is the price for a game that is released today after several years of development, not for a 12 year old game after fewer years of remastering. 20-30 euros would be acceptable, although Id grind my teeth even then, but 60 is way too much. Typical EA.

I do not share your opinion. Please check out the videos and reviews. They did not just polish it to release it again. They have put a certain amount of work into this and for 60 €/$ you get 3 high quality games incl. all DLCs in a beautiful remastered look. Especially ME1 was changed a lot if you compare it to 2012 version.

So imho:
If you already own it feel free to play ME1 with 9 yrs old graphics and gameplay. Have fun.
If you want the Legendary Edition and you honor the work and love of the devs have put in this game series shut up and pay.

i have, and i as for me1 im actually amazed, but for the other two my opinion hasnt changed, and neither has it changed about the price. keep in mind that the hardware requriements have also risen to modern requriements, which many people dont have. for me personally, id need to invest several hundred euros to upgrade my pc first, and in an age where hardware requirements change constantly im not ready to do that. the price should have reflected that. bethesda gave people that owned skyrim already the remastered version for free, so i think its fair to at least give people who own the trilogy already a price cut.
